At Cash Converters we have set out to create something big, break the game board and change the rules to create the “movie” of our lives: #NoMásEstrenos . A film in which the main plot is to create a more sustainable world and in which all the actors take care of the environment and, of course, promote responsible consumption.
Before we started, we had it very clear! All the characters in #NoMásEstrenos had to be real people like you. We were looking for applicants willing to give the best performance of their lives, and it is no wonder when the goal is to change the scenario in which all of us will shoot the greatest project ever told, our life and that of those to come.
With clear ideas, we got down to work and called on all those who were willing to be part of the #ConvertersMovement . The first step was to sign up for our casting, and the result was cinematic! One of the signs of identity of the #MovimientoConverters is to bet on responsible consumption, and that is why we flee from “premierees”. We are committed to giving a second life to all those products that already left a negative footprint on the Environment during their manufacture.
Although we are already more than 327,000 Converters acting to create a better world, we want the #MovientoConverters to reach every corner of our planet. We won’t stop until #NoMásEstrenos becomes the plot of the great “movie” of our lives.
We always say that movement is demonstrated by walking and that is why we are very proud of having converted 2,603,866 items while saving 24,321 tons of carbon footprint, in addition to recycling 1,229 kilos of products from our stores.

Thanks to all of you who have participated in #NoMásEstrenos and opted for second-hand items, we have saved the planet more than 213,000kg of CO2. This translates into:
- 35,706 cars removed from circulation in one day
- 10,770,560 trees absorbing CO2 in one day
- 7,411,396 liters of water saved
